Troubleshoot with Logs and Conversations

Use GetVoiceBot logs, Task history, and complete conversations to understand what an Agent did and why.

GetVoiceBot keeps several kinds of operational evidence. Start with the narrowest record that answers your
question, then expand into the complete conversation when you need the Agent's reasoning or actions.

Choose the right record

Source Best for
Logs Filtering, summaries, reporting values, channel details, and exports across many interactions.
Conversation The complete exchange, including messages and available function or tool activity.
Task details Scheduling, status, attempts, runs, retry evaluation, and the linked work record.
Computer Task chat Instructions, progress, tool calls, results, and the final response for Computer work.

Do not treat a Task being queued, a function being requested, or an Agent saying “done” as proof
that the intended outcome occurred.

Investigate one interaction

  1. Open Logs at the Agent or organization level.
  2. Narrow the time window and select the columns that matter.
  3. Open the matching log and review its summary, details, transcript, reporting fields, and channel
    information.
  4. Open the complete conversation when the summary does not explain the behavior.
  5. If a Task started the work, inspect its attempt or run history as well.
  6. Verify external actions in the destination system.

For calling issues, capture the direction, source and destination, approximate time, Agent, and any
available SIP details before changing routing.

Investigate a pattern

Export or filter a bounded time range rather than relying on one anecdote. Compare successful and
unsuccessful interactions under the same Agent version, channel, audience, and workflow.

Useful questions include:

Build a useful support report

Include:

Separate facts from suspected causes. Avoid restarting services, changing credentials, or
republishing an Agent repeatedly without understanding what the evidence shows.

Protect sensitive information

Conversations and logs can contain customer data. Export only what is needed, share it with the
appropriate people, and remove downloaded files when the investigation is complete.
